The Big Challenge

A division president at a large company had adopted a command-and-control management style that stifled open dialogue within their team. When under stress, the leader became overly demanding and unapproachable. The division president’s management style was counterproductive and hampering the team’s performance. A shift in approach was needed to create a healthier, more productive work environment.

When left unaddressed, the division faced compounding issues, including further declines in productivity, an inability to attract top talent, an eroding culture, and potential disciplinary action against the leader.

This unhealthy leadership approach resulted in several negative consequences:

The AG Solution

To address this challenge, the company brought in AG Solutions, a leadership coaching firm. AG implemented their proprietary “AG 180 Bold Coaching Methodology” and the “AG Listen: Pulse Survey” to gain deep insights into the team dynamics.
